Grain Moisture Meter
Only available from Kelvin Cave Ltd, these Wile 55 moisture meters have been specially modified by the manufacturers, using our calibrations, to allow testing of cereals and pulses from 45% moisture.
This makes them the first choice for farmers and contractors who crimp or use Propcorn or ProFlake to treat cereals, as well as those harvesting conventionally.
Accurate moisture testing at harvest ensures that the most suitable preservative is chosen and prevents under-application, which could lead to significant spoilage. It also prevents costly and unnecessary over-application.
The moisture meter tests whole grains without grinding and is robust and simple to use in-field or back in the yard. It comes in a hard protective case with battery included.
