BaleSafe
For silage bales up to 50% DM use Safesil Challenge, but for higher dry matter forages then use BaleSafe, which is a unique blend of propionic and benzoic acids and human food-grade preservative. It has been independently proven to prevent yeasts and moulds.
BaleSafe is available in 1000-lt IBC or 200-lt drum.
The application rate is as follows:
Wrapped haylage: 3-4 litres/tonne
Unwrapped hay:
<15% moisture: 2-3 litres/tonne
15-20% moisture: 4-5 litres/tonne
20-25% moisture: 5-6 litres/tonne
